DFW Restaurant Week Aug 15-21

We do 2 things real well in this city: eat and shop. We’re like the Michael Phelps of dining and commercialism. If there was a trophy for it, we’d win it every year, and we’d fill it with white truffle fries and fried pickles.

So it’s only fitting that we have a week where we use this power for good and help out the North Texas Food Bank. Friends, get out your stretchy pants…. Central Market’s Restaurant Week is upon us!

The actual week starts Aug. 15-21, book your reservation to enjoy 3-course dinners & 2-course lunches with a portion of every meal supporting The North Texas Food Bank

New twist for this year, the weekend before kicks off with a new Food and Food_and_Wine_Festival_2016Wine Festival. Don’t miss this cool event, on Saturday, the band Magic! (they sang that song “Rude”….why you gotta be so rude….) will be playing!

They book up fast so use OpenTable for the best results – and get to clicking – after all it’s for a good cause and you totally want to eat again even though you ate like 5 minutes ago. But that’s besides the point.

Each participating restaurant will offer a three-course dinners or lunches at a set price – so you can check out that uber-expensive restaurant without dipping into your booze budget. Speaking of which, many will offer suggested wine pairings to compliment their menus – so you got that going for you, too.

Every meal you purchase will send 20 percent to either the North Texas Food Bank in Dallas or Lena Pope Home in Fort Worth. Please note, that tax, tip and drinks are billed separately from the set price.
